permanent, in the ideas of living.”

Birra alla spina

Venice is basically all that I ever imagined that it would be, romantic, quaint, old, beautiful. My boyfriend met me in Venezia and we stayed in this little B&B, so adorable. They literally brought breakfast (which included a plate of cookies, yes please) to our room each morning.
While Venice is certainly not known to have the best cuisine in Italy, it is still yummy. I had some of the best pizza I will probably ever have, we went to this little place near our B&B and just ate pizzas and drank beer, IN VENICE. And it was so good, and so nice.

For dinner we went to the Hard Rock, YES I KNOW it's so touristy but I knew he would not mind and I just really needed some American food I have been missing in Spain (mac&cheese!)

St Marks Basilica is beautiful, but really the whole city is beautiful.

The winding alleys that seemed like they were a dead end, but never were...those Italians with their hands talking for them, and the gondolas, and the ever-present sound of lapping water in the canals, wandering through the city holding hands with the love of my life...This is the life for me.
